Flexible and Accessible Homes

CareShare Living is a web-based platform and mobile app that merges long-term rentals and homecare with innovative technology to provide a superior senior care solution.

By creating flexible and enriched living arrangements, CareShare Living fosters intergenerational communities while addressing the complex needs of Canada’s aging population. Our platform ensures seniors enjoy independence without sacrificing safety, community, and high-quality care.

CareShare Living is a scalable, socially impactful, and profitable venture that combines housing, technology, and homecare to meet the growing demand for solutions to Canada’s aging population.

As an alternative to communal housing, our private living arrangements provide clear benefits:

  • Fully accessible, licensed secondary suites that have been assessed by a certified home inspector – seniors have far more space and personal amenities than in retirement homes
  • Seniors retain independence and privacy rather than shared rooms and living arrangements
  • Access to community and family – it is easier for families to find nearby accommodations compared to the limited number of RH and LTCH vacancies
  • No wait lists
  • Simple rental packages and superior personal care – scheduled one-on-one visits from personal support workers, nurses and specialist doctors offer personal care and attention
  • Easy to use app for host and family communication and regular wellness checks, ensuring quality of care
  • App software that can integrate with third party IoT devices such as medical alert systems, health state monitoring, cameras and sensors, ensuring constant health monitoring

A single app for accessible long-term rentals and homecare at your fingertips:

  • Needs-based host and renter matching
  • Scheduled homecare services built right into your rental agreement
  • Certified home inspections & accessibility assessments
  • Communications tools and regular wellness checks
  • Internet-of-Things device compatibility: medical alert systems, health state monitoring, cameras and sensors
  • And much more!

Community Hub

The CareShare Living app includes a forum and bulletin board for community events, recreational programs and get-togethers focused on senior inclusion.

  • Host, renter, and family access to community alerts and events notifications
  • Community bulletin board for local events and program listings
  • Friend-finder matching for our verified renters
  • Simple sign-ups, management, and payment
